When he led the rescue crew in a boisterous cheer I reveled in their joy like a mother hearing the cries of her newborn. <br /><br />I hope, as you so poignantly wrote, that "... the Earth has seeded in them some new vision that will help us in our collective transformation. They bring hope, a renewed appreciation of what it is to live, of life’s simple moments." I also marvel at how men organized as a...Beautiful! I also marvel at how men organized as a community and nurtured each other. They clearly drew upon Earth and the Dark Mother to survive as a team. So many of them (as much as we have heard) faced their fears like Milarepa in the cave no doubt, and found the way. I think the ascent is such a great metaphor too.
